October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month....
AND....I am now a breast cancer survivor. I have spent the last month going through numerous CT scans, tests, mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, surgery, and I am now recovering at home awaiting chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The good news is that my doctor did get all of the cancer and now the chemo and radiation will clean me up. I still feel like I'm in some kind of nightmare just waiting to wake up, but this is my new reality. I can't thank my family and friends enough for all your love and support and caring for me....I love all of you so much<3 So please all of my followers if you are at that age to get mammograms 'do it'....they don't hurt....this hurts :)
A few screenshots....Thank you Elizabeth for sharing your 'journey' with me. You are an incredible friend and your support is endless :) Thank you Susan for sharing the fall wall and icons. You are always such a sweet and caring friend and Taylor too and your on-going support means so much to me :) And to my friend Pink, thank you for the custom breast cancer walls that you had made for me by eviedoll. That was so incredibly sweet of you and your support is so appreciated :) And Zaibun and Hilary OMG the hats you knitted me are so beautiful, thank you for your on-going support and friendship, don't know what I would do without you both :) And Stephanie (tennisjunkie) who's ongoing support has restored faith and hope in me and I thank you :) And lastly numerous of my Instagram and Twitter friends....Love you All <3
It is also Autumn now and I'm Canadian and this weekend is our Thanksgiving! I'm blessed to be sharing it with my family and friends that I love and that have been so supportive of me through this time. Yay! I won't be doing the cooking this year! Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and your families....Be Blessed :)
